Adam and I are not strangers to the cattle business. We both grew up with cows and have always been attracted to good quality. I became passionate about cattle at a very young age. I was often found out riding my horse through the cows. I learned the most by helping my dad feed cows, tag calves, pull calves, check cows, and by showing 4-H steers. My parents bought me my first registered heifer, Franny, when I was 9 years old. Although she was ran with my family's large commercial herd most of her life, she continually produced good calves and helped build me a nice commercial herd that still lives on today. She lived to be 19 1/2 years old and we were actually able to register her last heifer calf and she is currently working in our registered herd today. The qualities in seedstock cattle that we feel are the most important are feet, fertility, pounds heavy, disposition and longevity. We strive to have our cows excel in these traits and cull those that don't. Our integrity is more important than our bank account. We have learned through the school of hard knocks that there are popular A.I. sires out there that aren't "seedstock sound" in our books. We do a lot of research and strive to use very proven bulls that meet all the criteria listed above so that you can be confident in your herd's future. Each member of our family works hard and contributes to the success of our small operation. It is very enjoyable to see our kids involvement and watch them grow into little cattlemen. We love raising cattle and aim to put more profit in your pocket.
